Microsoft will reduce OneDrive free storage to 5GB starting on July 27

22 April, 2016
Last year there was a bit of a kerfuffle involving Microsoft's cloud storage service, OneDrive. The company announced plans to cut free storage from 15GB to 5GB, and also get rid of the additional 15GB camera roll bonus altogether.

This is funny... this cloud is made by Microsoft and offer ONLY 5gb for his users, but Samsung offer 100gb for Galaxy S users who wants to install this cloud.

MS: Ok lets get rid of those who fill up our storage. We need good loyal customers for our products.
User: FY MS, if not because of that free 15Gb we won't be here, good bye.

So they are reducing the storage, a lot of providers are constantly changing the limits - currently i'm happy as have office 365 subscription for 5 pc's giving over 5TB (1TB per user) of total storage if needed @ £60 a year which is £1 per user per month, which you can't complain at, as no-one other provider can supply at this cost

Ms just focus on your tablets and pc business please. The Lumia 950 was the worst mistake you could make. Lumia is lost people won't believe in you anymore this was your chance window 10 is beautiful but you came tooo late and that with a crappy phone. I wish google or apple would buy windows and make something good for us. It's a waste on Microsoft.

Google gives you 15GB free to start, and 2GB more free each year. I have 19GB so far, plus unlimited high quality picture storage... MS can't compete with that.

                                    GAME OVER for MS.
Time to take our data and ship to another service like gdrive. If you want to take camera roll take it but taking additional 10 GB of space seems to be very selfish and childish. If you can't feed then why you gave birth. Your this decision should be danger for you survival. What a poor management. You people must be challenge in court for this annoying act.
                                    Say NO TO ONEDRIVE!!!!!
