spk, 28 Apr 2016shattered screen on my lumia 735, sadly there is no midrang... moreI am also stuck with a shattered screen on Lumia 630........I feel MS is abandoning the Lumia low end devices and goin in for "Surface Phone" for the corporate world.
Strange....Price of my own phone has increased by Rs 3000 bucks on Amazon and Flipkart However they are'nt willing to quote four digit number and quote in 100's if i am willing to return my Phone in as it is condition.

Microsoft is slowly but surely losing the mobile phone market share. Lumia phones are absurd for the price they sell. For the specs provided in lumia phones, their prices should be immediately slashed by 50% if Microsoft wants to retain their market share. Or they should pack their phones with SD 652 chipset with 3gb ram at least. Whether these are required or not doesn't matter, public has become very spec savvy. By the way lumia phones are not among the fastest. That five dot animation is actually hides the lag in lumia phones. Wake up Microsoft. Not all is lost yet.

I'm glad to hear this, even though I'm not a fan of the mobile version of Windows 10 like I am of the full desktop version, I'm still a firm believer of competition in the market place; hopefully Microsoft and their partners feel the pressure and release some outstanding phones and UI improvements.

At the moment still do not have a plan to back to use another OS, and Fcuk I miss nokia quality in Lumia. In wp 10 my camera became VGA, damn.

Windows is the best operating software . Its much much better than android, windows phone dont hang or lag, battery back up is good and software is secured . People who have used windows 8.0 and further will agree .

Question for anyone with a Windows 10 Mobile device?
Is the access to the filesystem back or do you still have to sync to a PC to get files sent in an e-mail?
Does Edge (formerly IE) have the same navigation buttons as the desktop version? Meaning you have forward/backward navigation buttons?
These are a couple features in 8 that were missing/different from the desktop version of 8.
Microsoft needs to understand that although the devices are different (desktop/tablet/phone), most people expect the same applications and OS to work the same regardless of the physical hardware. If they ever figure that out they may be a force in the future.

Only drawback is APP GAP and I'm sure it will get bridge up soon.

I agree that MIUI is somewhat slow. Besides, on the Redmi2, it's still based on ancient Kitkat. On the bright side, the mod community for the Redmi lineup is quite good. My Redmi2 running 6.0.1 is very smooth. Heck, I actually also have a Redmi 1S, slower and only 1GB of RAM, and with Marshmallow, it runs very well as well.

It hurts to see these kind of articles about Windows phones. They have soooo much potential! But until it gets more app developers on board to develop more apps and grow the Microsoft Store there's really no reason to go Windows phone over Android or iOS. I run Windows 10 on my PC. I would love to be able to have a Windows 10 smartphone so I can use the extra features of the OS's, the Phone Companion feature built in looks brilliant! But if the Microsoft Store on the phone is as barren as the one on my PC then it's just not worth the money for a flagship Windows 10 mobile. I'll keep my eye on the market to see when things change, and I will be rooting for Microsoft all the way home, but I won't hold much hope on things happening anytime soon.

Except than the APP's GAP there is no reason to say that windows 10 mobile is a bad os... According to me its UI is the best than those android or ios... And i m very sure that just after some month windows 10 mobile will also fulfil this gap.. Coz we have already seen an example as the new #instagram app which is ported from ios is working fine even it is in beta.. So it is confirmed that the gap will no longer exist... OTHER THAN THAT IT IS THE BEST OS WITH SUPER BEST UI
