For those who complain about processing power and ram,please read this line from Damian dinning's conversation"Some PC’s struggle to edit HD video but this is done on a device that fits in your pocket! It’s amazing how pocket processing power has developed over recent years." i think it ends the argument on Cpu and Ram because to be honest,if a phone can manage and handle the intensive process of HD video editing then i don't think it would possibly lag on any other programs or processes running and it will perform easily and smoothly on all other occasions and it also shows the power of Symbian^3 OS

Can you guys stop fighting about which OS is better or which company is better? Nobody even cares because people have different opinions. Apple is a good company because of their APPs while Android is slowly catching up with that department. Although, I have to agree that Symbian is getting a little old. Nokia is making good phones, though.
My point is, there's going to be different opinions for everybody, so bashing other companies on what they have is just childish.
And if you people think I'm Apple-Biased, I own a blackberry.

And why do people make the icons in the UI and issue? They're quite fine and the UI is impressively smooth even through HDMI, unlike the HTC EVO...and the camera is awesome, sound quality is great, the N8 is an amazing device and you would just be silly to keep saying "oh too little memory and too slow CPU" when we SEE the N8's exceptional performance in the videos released so far. Speaking of hardware...the N8 does have one of the most powerful GPUs on a phone...period.

Why does everyone keep saying nokia are dragging their feet. The did say it wont be available till Q3 2010.

Well i have see the pics on nokia blog, the color is okay, but i don't think the pics are that sharp enough as it should be for 12MPs.
I have new N97mini now, and the pics in here are not much different.

i just love the quality of pics, its captures memories in the most beautiful way with a phone, i'm getting this phone, huhu... i hope the reason they delayed the released is smoothing the UI... i don't care if other phones uses the 1gaga hertz of processor just as long the smoothness of UI is in par of high end touch mobiles. i'm not in a wishful thinking that it will beat iphone 4/android 2.2 UI experience. but the camera, the music quality should be top notch...

I hate my iPhone 3g-s alot of the time because of lack of hardware/software, but i mean, 256mb RAM?! WTF NOKIA! I kinda expected alot more outta this phone because im not getting the iPhone 4. I wanted to switch to this one :( Oh well, its not like i NEED to upgrade..

Nokia can beat Apple!!!! They must try harder. It's to be proven in the late 80s that Apple is not invincible. Where they haven been beaten by IBM.(Personal Computer)

Awesome!!! I can't believe this, A good camera-phone must have "Xenon flash/good optic/lens cover/good software"
The only cellphone with all that stuff right here, and right now is the Sony Ericsson Satio, and it even has LED flash that can be used on video recording.
I still have my lovely N95 8GB, but it's annoying not to have lens cover on a camera-phone :S
I will never buy a camera-phone that doesn't have LENS COVER (I love my new Satio ^_^ )

Its the Software we want to see not the Camera an Videos functions,Why? do we get no news about the Software an the Release of the N8,as Nokia are really dragging this release of the N8,an when its finally available more advanced mobiles will be come available from Samsung an Htc an the rest,so it will be overtaken in features an functions,then more updates will be required,how long will it take to finally get the N8 release amazes loads of people as early days we used to get mobiles every month,but 6 months to wait for the N8 to be finally released by Nokia seems odd

Maybe N8 is the best cellphone camera in market right now but i still prefer sony ericsson's cellphone camera over nokia. It seems to me that nokia cellphone's photos are over colored. Although this one is a exception.
However nokia just impressed me.

they not just care about a particular group of people.
Unlike apple, they do not put all into just one phone!! Do you see any chance of apple producing an extra cheap simple model, AND a high power model, AND a Linux type for geeks, AND a 'blackberry type' with full keyboard, etc, etc????? Nokia already does.... :P
