this is a powerhouse, definetely the best camera phone till.
nokia just must develop a more eyecandy UI and use some good processors that will run it fast. that is what people want... false in my opinion but is the true. everything else is great: perfect hardware, great features (TV-out via HDMI, FM transmitter, USB On-the-go and other hard to find stuff), quality on stracture and many many apps.

Looking at the previews of N8 and the amazing quantity of functionality, the only thing that missing is the hardware power.
To make a real iPhone killer, NOKIA must put little more muscles in the hardware. To satisfy the ego of the users - we have the most powerful/in functions and hardware/ phone.

So please NOKIA, increase the hardware and you will kick apple ass!

Nokia love, 09 Jul 2010Its fast when there are maybe 1 or 2 light applications run... moreSymbian powered Samsung Omnia HD with same amount of RAM as in N8 can run 62 applications at a time.

Agree, N8 is based on latest OS version so OS will consume more RAM, but it atleast will be able to run 10 applications simultaneously. Accept the fact, Symbian is very low on resources.

Anonymous, 09 Jul 2010What is tap to focusIt's just a finger tap gimmick used by Apple. you basically use your finger to focus on a particular part of the picture.

This is shaping up to be one hell of a camera phone. And Finally, the Megapixel race is over. Nokia HAVE to promote this phone to the hilt if they are going to win back customers from Apple.

Sadly, many people have had their fingers burnt by Nokia in the past, and are happy enough with the iphone. Those that are eager for tech thought will love this. It's only downside is that the OS is simply TOO new, and is bound to have bugs. Lets hope that they have learned to properly beta test the phone with volunteers, not the paying public.
