Making... moreOf course, but when we talk about overpriced pseudo premium device, that actually is not special at all not even in build quality, and it have most ridiculous excuse for not having screen(being distracted????? what the F) is hard to keep constructive comment...
Because 6000Euro for device that dont have screen, it have less functions than low end phone, lens and chip is also really average, and that Fricking "distraction"???? You can just NOT LOOK AT THE FRICKING SCREEN... or on normal camera... just turn it off...
This device is made to make fun of it, and making fun of people who would buy it is actually required by international law.
And sadly more and more devices are made like that so its not trolling, its reality.

hmmm, i get what they are trying to do i guess. But kinda feels like a step backwards in terms of convenience, which has been one of the main goals of any tech....

Leica might not survive if just making digital camera. Leica can be great if they focus on making great camera module for smartphone just like Sony.

haha, Just reading these comments shows how little the genteral readership know about photography.
Yes its expensive but if you know how to take a photo it will perform on another level compared to any smartphone out there.
As the article and Leica have said its about bringing the art back to photography

Leica might not survive if just making digital camera. Leica can be great if they focus on making great camera module for smartphone just like Sony.

What's so special about the photos taken with these leica cameras thing eventually ??
I Can get almost similar results using a decent camera (even a smart phone camera ) and adding to some effect to the photo
i dont get what's all that hype about leica about and why overpriced this way

I'm sure their cameras are good but not that good to justify this insane price. If someone really cares about photography and getting the best shots, then there are many other better options out there.
