Lumia 950/950 XL could get 'double tap to wake' feature if there's enough demand for it

Double tap the navigation bar to glance screen is already there, why not otherwise? Other than this, holding power button and sliding image down to turn-off, why not implement 2 finger slide down or again double tap it to restart the phone....

Why couldn"t MS just put the double tap feature into the L950s and let the users decide whether they're gonna use it or not. Do users really need to go through the hazzle? Come on, MS!

It is should be had more co... moreThere's really nothing wrong with the Lumia 950. It's a great phone despite the negative connotations surrounding it.
You obviously don't realize that there's way more that goes into a phone then just downloading the operating system. What worked for the Lumia 640 XL and every other Windows Phone 8.1 device may not work for a device that comes with Windows 10 Mobile. There's the huge differences between updating to Windows 10 Mobile and having it preinstalled, for example. Not to mention unique hardware differences such as the processor and RAM, or the firmware present on the phone. Especially the firmware.

How about you just add that function before your entire department got close down?
Microsoft and Blackberry are just doing the bare minimum on their phones just so they can say they have a smartphone division.

Azure is dominating everything. And the 950 was never supposed to compete with any other flagships. It serves one purpose and one purpose only: providing a high powered Windows 10 Mobile device for the fans that supports all the latest features.

2) You do not need Twitter in any way shape or form. You just need a Windows phone running Windows 10 Mobile. Use the Feedback Hub or Windows Feedback if you're still on Threshold.

In those Microsoft feedback, im constantly reacting to include Continuum on my Lumia930. For in what way, I don't think so if its hardware capable or do it in any other way around. Just to keep our phones upto date feature. In any case we're not getting it, the next OS update are just nothing but minor.

I am using a Lumia 640 XL with Windows 10 and the tap to wake feature is active. The new tap to sleep the screen (at the bottom) feature is also working.

I do miss double tap to wake. So many older Lumia's have it but not the newest flagships. For a while I thought it was excluded because windows 10 mobile was so new/2k screen resolution. But really? Now we have to upvote it? C'mon it's so useful when cooking/working with anything that gets ur hands dirty, just use the pinky.

It's a great feature that saved me on my old 635 as the buttons wore out rather quick and now that I have the 950 I'm worry about constantly using the button to wake the phone. Bring the feature back please!!!! Also the alarm on the lumia 635 windows 8.1 was so awesome compared to the new shocking alarm :$
