If u use a mobile phone as your audio player, how much of the phone price actually went into the audio part? Actually, all mobile phone audio is rubbish! $700 for a walkman, in audiophile world is just entry level for beginers. There is no limit in the audiophile world. For phone audio it is more important to have loudness than sound quality for your bus, train and airplane journey.

Lol many people hre are so Lucky that they can buy new phone with a blink of an eye not like me im poor but im going to buy this if its good and does perform good...before you complain about the phone price let the phone its self tell you if its worth it or not what i mean is some people well buy this phone and im sure there is going to have thre own experience about the phone if you think you like the review and they say phone can last for 2 or 1 and a half days to mke it realistic even in a hard use and it doesn't over heat like hell well it deserve his price cuz now a days most of the phone doesn't last for a day...and about the loudness of the phone i really like the not so loud volume cuz i dont use the phone speaker to prolong the life of the phone speaker besides there are portable speakers now and dont tell me you can buy s7 or h10 but you can't buy portable speaker lol bros...for me i can tell x performance will rock...or its just i dont like the design of the other phone lol but i think its not...maybe i like sony cuz its simple but premium and its not overrated unlike the others so many feature but in the long run youll say yup its over rated alright... If the phone its not good well im going to keep my sony zr if the phone is cool goddang hello "X" and the letter X is kinda cool unlike the z it doesn't sounds good Zexperia unlike "X"peria is cooler dont you think bros?...

Xperia... moreI totally agree with you. First Sony wants us to wait half a year from the announcement to the release to market. The only device worth considering is the X Performance. Unfortunately it only has 3 GB of RAM while almost all the other flagships have 4. The camera lacks OIS which as we know is crucial in mobile devices with small sensors. And the price - like all the other flagships.
I always wanted to have Sony phone but unfortunately with every flagship they have to break something.

Xperia Pro - Xperia Arc - Xperia S - Xperia V - Xperia Z - Tablet Z - Xperia Z2 - Two Xperia Z3 - Xperia Z3 Tablet - Xperia Z5 Premium.
Moreover, I have 3 SONY TVs, one Video Camera ( HDR-CX730E ) one Photos Camera ( NEX-7 ).
Also I gifted two Xperia devices to my parents ( Z - ZR ).
What do you think now ?!! I was planning to upgrade to Xperia X but it's really not worth comparing with other brands ( same prices with low specs !! ).

And no, Z5 speakers cant be made louder. All phones use the speakers at 80% of its capability, for ensuring longer life.

The hate is strong on this one. You can tell which are really fanboys of other brands, bashers and the worst of all, trolls. Internet ones. It's either you've never used an Xperia device for a long time to have some experience or you just don't have money to one. You're cries for high prices won't make them cheaper. It'll only show how an average person you are. If you can't afford it, then save some cash. That's their asking price and you can't do anything about it - in return, you're getting lasting quality. Ever heard of Z1 and some older devices getting 5.1 (not 5.0)? They're a Japanese company, you should look into their culture and they're among the countries with the nicest people, at least today (check on Mitsubishi apologizing for cheating scandal, they meant it.)
Yes, the price is high and the brand itself justifies it, it's a Sony like an Apple device would be. Except that you're not paying for the brand (I'm pretty sure you don't either with an Apple, just take a look at the materials used for their devices and their wonderful, fluid OS), you're paying for quality right here. Call me a Sony fanboy, throw whatever you wish. I don't care. I'm only testifying that you're really paying for quality here and that justifies their prices, like someone would pay so much for a Bentley, you're paying tradition and craftsmanship right there. I've owned other Sony devices from the '90's (Betamax video camera, Trinitron TVs, home theatre audio system) and they still run today, the only problem is that they're outdated.

Sony phones are generally low on volume, and their music output is poor compared to their old sony ericsson phones. It's all about software here. Sony needs to take a look at their wordrobe, and see what made them excel. So far I see no innovations, and they hardly trying to be the best. They just want to stay in game.
Z5 needs a camera update. It takes photos with very sharp details, unnaturaly sharp. And at night it takes usable photos, but that blue and red noise is not acceptable.
Z5 has low volume speakers, and they can be louder just with a software update. From headphones the sound is also not so loud. Sony needs to see these. I dont want to get to rooting just because I need louder volume. And no, bluetooth speakers aren't the answer.

What kinda let me down is the screen size, while some people do agree 5 or less is perfect I kinda like 5.5 as my main phone because I do stuff like remote support, excel, write a lot of e-mails. My Z3 feels very small nowadays! Wish they would offer high end alternatives.
Not to say a smaller phone is also welcome but that's around 4.2-4.6 for sports, listening to music and doing basic stuff without all that weight and that's why I use my Nokia 820 for, it never dies.
Love Sony build quality, but I feel like it's lacking innovation, I feel like they're coming a bit too late to the party.
