It is not mistake by gsmarena. Read the source of the article here.

It is absolutely HTC management problem. HTC 10 is good, competitive, but not better than S7 or G5 in all aspects. It's later to the market, and want to sell at higher price. HTC really has mind-set problem, thought itself like Apple, can demand higher price for its products.

If HTC cannot sell the phone in big volume, the cost of each phone is higher, then more difficulty to sell at lower price, more budget problem for the future R&D. HTC management really need to wake up if it still want to be in the mobile phone business.

Communist Chinese don't like Taiwan because they are close to US and Japan... it doesn't matter whether the phone is good or not. it won't sell well.

It is not a surprising result. Many native Android phone manufacturers (XiaoMi, Huawei..etc.) can produce the similar products (specifications) at lower (or much lower) price than that of HTC 10......so it is meant that people in China do not have to splurge the money on expensive phones.

                [deleted post]Calm down, who cares?

[deleted post]Agree, The HTC 10 Hi-Res Boomsound already beat Samsung S7 tiny weak speaker, but GSM claimed S7 much more better. Htc should give lawsuit to Gsm which provided untrue info.

I'm just concerned about the large number of people working at HTC who will soon find themselves possibly out of jobs and liquidated.

Being worse than S7 and G5 and charging $700 will make it not do well anywhere. Wake up HTC. Even Alcatel ships more phones than HTC. Shocking...

The lifestyle should never exist in first place. How much you save by getting the midrange over the flagship? Failed strategy from failed managements.
