Anonymous, 11 May 2016If Sony would release a tablet with proper pen support I'd ... moreVery True. The Note 10.1 2014 edition is an amazing Tab. Its very useful for university students. And it completely replaced my Notebooks. I cant believe that Samsung never continued on with that Series.

What a waste, having such a great ratio, excelling at both portrait and landscape and using it only in landscape. Why don't you buy of those atrocious 16:9 windows tabs then? They can only be used landscape, they were meant to only be used in landscape...

Right now my Note 10.1 is still going fine, but eventually it will need replacing, and Samsung certainly don't seem interested in providing anything that can take its place.

AnonD-231974, 11 May 2016Portrait orientation with 16:9 ratio... Well done Samsung, ... moreIt's 16:10, 16:10 is very close to 3:2 (15:10) that Microsoft uses. Portrait orientation makes sense.

I just hope that physical butons would go extinct in tablets, too much travel time. Replace them with gestures like in Microsoft and Apple tablets. Tablets are not phones, kill the buttons.

Anonymous, 10 May 2016He is a troll. Do not listen. You are a troll, I well supported my argument. Samsung only makes low end tablets. Pay attention. Their Note Tablet from 2013 was their last Note tablet. Since then only mid range or low ehd tabs for Samsung.

In 2016 they reached a new low. Tab A is the best android tablet they have released, my comment is valid. Stop trolling.

Anonymous, 10 May 2016Wow Samsung! Tab Note 10.1 2014 was released 3 years ago... moreYou guys surprise me sometimes. I mean your ignorance is off the chart.

It's a Tab A meaning midrange all the way. Yes the note pro 2014 was and is better simply cause it was a flagship.

Please quit the nonsense now, it's getting old.

A tablet without front facing stereo speakers is almost an pointless device. It is, after all, fundamentally a media device. I can't believe they didn't update this.

The current Samsung tablets are beautifully designed elegant things. Clearly the best tablets. Except their sound through the speakers is hollow and vastly inferior, even compared to much lesser and cheaper devices, like the Asus tablets with stereo front facing speakers.

There is plenty of room to do this on a tablet (unlike on phones which have to have significantly larger bezels relative to their size). There is just zero reason (except extreme cheapness?) for Samsung to overlook this (especially given it is not the cheapest tablet out there anyway.)

                                  What a disappointment.
