If this is the size of the regular G4 then it'll turn away a lot of potential buyers, 5.5" should be reserved for the Plus model by including a bigger screen, battery and better SoC.

my single right thumb is enough to manage bigger screen like 5.5 or 6 inch.and i think bigger screen is better reading , browsing and gaming so most of humans or smartphone lovers look for bigger one. few exception can not be counted in mejority . all thing that matter to get me purchage this upcoming new varient is its price.it must be under 12k to 14k . otherwise i ll go to opt its x play :) and yes moto can spreads its market in india at bigger scale if they make it available in most of major city of india. i bought fkn stupid smartphone in mid range but thier performance of cam, running , battery etc was very frustating. i didnt get satisfaction paying nearly 12k in such stuff and felt like a fool. but when i saw using MOTO G 3rd gen to my brother and its amazing performance in just 10k , i instantly falled in love with moto. moto is far ahead than these days new emerging new brands. my point is we use suk stuff in not availabily of good thing and not having knowledge about goot thing. moto , go ahead grab the indian market , you need us and we need you.👍

Honestly iam using moto g 2 .. iam a lover of motorolla iam waiting for moto g4..
MOTO why differ from other than any mobiles?... my ans is when i look at the phone i noticed two speakers and back nice grippy curved panel.... but Why LENOVO remove the bottom speaker and put there FINGER PRINT sensor and changed back design...so i noticed one thing this is not MOTO mobile.. it is LENOVO mobile...MOTO we love u.. but sorry REST IN PEASCE..

iPhones and Xperia Compacts are flagship devices at flagship prizes, what everyone is asking for is a decent non-crippled compact mid-range phone.

Anyone else tired of all these "screen too big" moaners. Your alone, if you weren't the market would provide you with more choice. You either have Iphone SE or Xperia Compact, if don't like it shut up. Moaning on internet like a baby won't change anything.

For the rumoured prices, the regular G4 should still be an excellent purchase choice, especially with 2gb ram being standard.

There is just one thing I don't like about companies(most of them) when they launch 2 versions of the phone. I hope Motorola (Oops! Lenovo) keeps the specs of G4 and G4+ same except the screen size.

Lenovo K5 have issues with a poor camera and bad internal memory write performance.
I hope G4 does a better way and dont miss IP certification

surely it will have the low end snap 430 which is barely an improvement over the 410. The price of the moto g is getting more and more expensive, you may find it in same bracket as a oneplus one or very close to a oneplus 2.

Soon the budget mobiles are as good as last years mid-range and lower high-end mobiles, in terms of resolution and other stuff. Left is only camera and maybe battery. Battery is no. 1 or no. 2 for me, on new mobiles.

They might spec it better than last year's Moto G, it might have similar specs to Vibe P1m, but I'm doubtful they'd use a MT chip; more like a Snapdragon equivalent of P1m's MT6735P
