when u in a big stage, people expect u to perform well.
When out of sudden, a phone that drop call with a touch of a finger.
Is just simply lame.
people expect more from Apple, these kind of issue shouldn't happen.

I don't have an iPhone but personally this is rue first time that I have wanted one, but let's be honest this would make anyone think twice. If we could think using logic for a moment maybe it a bit weird that apple have created a case that only goes round the outside of the phone and also now has just been found to help with the signal. Also other companies can moan a much they like because they would all want to have a phone of there's sell 3 million in 3 weeks, I am well aware that because something is popular dosent mean its any good. But maybe its just me does anyone think that the white iPhone won't have these problems because come on how long does it take a shade of white right and yes that is an in logical end note.

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2010I'm not blinded at all, but rather honest. Just think abou... moreactually, you're all kinds of wrong...signal strenght has a lot to do with dropped calls, but so does a phone with bad reception. True, there isn't a perfect phone out there, but it's simply unprofessional, unethical and quite disgusting for apple to take it out on other manufacturers for what it is in essence a design flaw. What other companies do with the technical design of their own phones is only their own concern.
And by the way, it's called an iphone for nothing or is it actually a phone meant for making calls?...what i like about the iphone is that it proves that many people will choose style over common sense

[deleted post]I'm not blinded at all, but rather honest. Just think about this. If all your claims are true that the iphone cannot make and receive calls, why is it that the return rate is insignificantly low? Why is it that iphone4 users are still very happy and satisfied with their iphone4? Apple has to provide proof that the iphone4 is not the only phone that has a weak spot. How else are they suppose to prove their point if they won't cite other phones having the same issues? So you don't think it's fair that Apple cited other phones having the same issues, but you think its fair for the media to single out the iphone4 as if it's the only phone with a weak spot? Apple didn't start this. It is the media.

Anonymous, 19 Jul 2010No one is concerned about death grip. Apple praised it's st... moreBut Apple never said that the os update would fix the weak spot of the iphone4. It was to fix the accuracy of the reception signal bars. Steve stood by what he said in the first place that phones have weak spots. What's uncool is, other manufacturers like nokia and rim, acts like their phones don't have weak spots. If nokia and rim are honest competitors, they would be empathetic towards Apple and admit that all phones have weak spots. What if it was them who were singled out by the media of a common antenna issue with phones and other companies would just play deaf. Just shows what kind of competitors they are.

He already knows that the iPhone4 has reception issues, the antenna engineers told him it was a design flaw, but he proceeded with it despite the fact that it was prone to dropping calls. Bloomberg news has already reported that.
As for a filming the iPhone4 losing bars, all Jobs has to do is a YouTube search, & he will immediately be bombarded with video after video of users not only losing bars...but dropping calls, & the ceasing of data transfers.
Every time you post, it sounds more like you are trying to convince yourself that there is no reception issue, rather than others.
Are you really that gullible??

but couldn't get it to fault so didn't included it in the video with the other brands failing, Pushed for time as the conference was a set date.

[deleted post]No one is concerned about death grip. Apple praised it's state of the art antenna only for us to find out the black band in between the 2plates causes bars to go down even with the touch of one finger. Thats the problem + denials such as it can be corrected by software

anyone who believes that any company that they buy a product from really cares about them must really love that company. how can a company care about their customer when they really do not personally even know each and every customer other than the customer being some statistic in their marketing database. get real!
