Spudly, 17 May 2016 ".. that should see manufacturing capacity grow to 45,000 ... moreLOL, yeah, exactly what I thought. And at merely 2,250 displays a day, that doesn't sound like a lot at all for updated facilities worth that sort of investment.

To produce 100mn iPhones in 12 months, they would have to produce 380k displays PER WORKING DAY. Let alone assembling that much in a day, which would pretty much require all of Foxconn's Shenzhen resources full-time for 12 months.

Of course since Apple sued Samsung for false patents and tried so hard to ban Samsung phones which matters to all Samsung users.and I think Apple does not desrve such Technology from Samsung.if would be the opposite would you like this news?. no wonder why iPhone sales suck since Apple made more enemies than friends.

Joe, 17 May 2016Samsung will adopt flexible screens. No more broken displays!True. Just when Samsung about to release Galaxy X with foldable display in 2017, then Apple suddenly decide to use AMOLED like everybody else for their next iphone. Apple always come lates to the party. Welcome to the bandwagon Apple! It will be 2021 when Apple decide to adopt new tech again. Very innovative~*sarcasm here

This would be a mistake, AMOLED will burn out over time. LCD may not have the best contrast ratio compared to AMOLED, but the colors are more accurate, screen is brighter and it won't burn out like AMOLED.
