I hope they will come with unique smartphones and don't overprice their smatphones lIke samsung does. And please atleast 18 months of update support for every nokia androidsmartphone. Welcome Nokia!!

Eh, nice but they're just Chinese, Nokia branded phones. No Nokia tech. Same as Philips did. I hope we won't be set for disappointments.

... moreWell, HMD is a Finnish company, created by ex-Nokians, who will access the entire Nokia patent portfolio. It's basically Nokia. They're just a separate company... For the time being ;)

To me it looks like Nokia is going to be owned by Chinese.
Nokia is being run by FIH and HMD global. FIH is a subsidiary of FOXCONN (HON HAI Precision Industries) and HMD global Oy is completely opaque private-equity group with known PR faces in the leadership.
My bet is that FOXCONN is pulling strings behind HMD as well. That secretive ownership scheme will make me think twice before buying Nokia once again.
