How can I say how happy I am after seeing this news. Every phone I have been using since 2003 till date is Nokia. My last phone is Lumia 925 that I have been using for last more than 2 years now which is the best phone for its design & hardware. I am also a proud owner of Nokia 7650; my first phone in 2003 and the first camera phone from Nokia genre and one of the best phone I have used so far. I hope Nokia will come back with it's full glory especially the best hardware in the market combined with Android. Come back NOKIA....

Nokia is coming back to smartphone wars is a good news, but here is my advice:
NEVER BUILD ANY ANDROID PHONE WITH CRAPPY LOW-END SOC, MEASLY RAM, AND CRAPPY CAMERA, EVER! Made Nokia X & X2 the last CRAPPY Android-powered rigs in Nokia history! Learn how to make a decent but affordable phone from Chinese!
Xiaomi, Meizu, Alcatel, ZTE, Haier, Asus, OnePlus and Lenovo are some of MANY Chinese manufacturers you could learnt from before releasing a new Android device!

Nokia, the best ever phones, i have been a long time fan of this brand from 3210 & N95, through the testing windows 7 era, and onto windows 8.1 denim, Lumia 930, probably the best to date. not going up to windows 10 do not like the build and feel of this OS. However an android OS on a Nokia, now that's some thing to talk about, i feel Samsung will be looking over their shoulders watching what Nokia's every move, i was going to wait for the Microsoft 950 to sort it's self out before getting on, now however i will be waiting for my first ever android phone, and better still it will be a Nokia.

Best operating system Nokia ever used was on the N900 Maemo 5, it was a beast OS and ruined every phone on the market at the time. Its kinda sad that they make a return and just slot into the same market as the rest, F#@* Android, give the consumers something different!! Either way good too see Nokia back on the market again!!

It's a shame they're going Android, I'd have liked to see them have some balls after coming up with Meego and maybe partnering with SailfishOS but hey ho, maybe they'll go the Cyanogen route and save some face and credibility, maybe the phones will run Sailfish . . . . hmmm . . . ;) anythings better than googles spyware and apples built in communism lol

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!! Nokia was the best of the best brands of cellphones. No wonder they were kings of this market for 15 years,. Bad and incompetent management and the move to Microsoft killed this leadership which was taken over by Sansung and Apple with fair quality phones but with features that customers wanted including the Android system. Lets hope that this time Nokia learned from its terrible past decisions and will come back with their traditional innovation and high standards including some QWERTY phones which are badly needed these days. My Nokia E72 purchased way back in June 2010 is still in perfect working order. Reliable, fast, strong and with a battery that lasts 2-3 days with full operation and it is the ORIGINAL battery that came with the phone. Now, this IS high quality. No regret spending a heavy sum as long as you get what you pay for and much more. Something that is not happening these days despite claims from manufacturers.
