Guy, 23 Jul 2010There is an issue, genius. The only thing is that it is NOT... moreDid I ever say that there's no issue? I said it is not a big concern among users. A lot of users still prefer the ip4 over other devices.

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2010There's no sense dwelling over an issue that apparently doe... morethe product has not been properly tested, it's flawed, it has design fault... and yet you still support it. would you kept the phone if it didnt have the apple logo on its back? follow the label, follow the trend.... sad but true.... millions of muppets living in denial. it's a simple phone for simple minded people who has low self esteem issues....

John, 23 Jul 2010APPLE or Steve Jobs DOES NOT HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE IN PHONE M... more98.3% of iPhone 4 users are not experiencing the issues you describe.
Wake up and smell the roses, pal.
The only issue the iPhone 4 has is that they can't be made fast enough to meet demand.

They also ranked the iPhone 4 as the best, better than any other smartphone.

APPLE or Steve Jobs DOES NOT HAVE ANY EXPERIENCE IN PHONE MANUFACTURING! Get that in ur head iFAG FAN BOYS!
Apple versus 20yrs+ of experienced phone manufacturing and engineering, Motorola/HTC/Samsung/Sony Ericsson etc..Who would u trust?
Just because they sold out on iPhone 4 does not mean they are the best in what they do. Rather than RECALLING they OFFERED BUMPER CASES. What kind of respectable company would do that? Trying to justify it the wrong way. What if i dont want to use a bumper case? What if i want to hold it the "NORMAL" way? Who are you to tell me that ME, the consumer , is WRONG!? Apple were FULLY AWARE that there was a hardware problem BUT decided to sell it anyway and BLAMING the OTHER Phone manufacturer regarding their issues.
Also the numbers Steve Jobs presented was soo wrong in soo many different levels. The iPhone 4 has only been out 22 days and you are pulling data at an early stage? comparing it to the iphone 3GS which had been out for 3/4/5yrs? and telling the media that iphone 4 is DOING GREAT within that 22 days???? WTF!
There is A REASON why Motorola/HTC/Samsung/LG/SE DO NOT EXPOSE THEIR ANTENNA, it is so that they wont have problems such as iPhone 4 is having, its COMMON SENSE.
For all cell users out there, what is the main function of a PHONE!? Games? App? playing video? photo? video/photo editing?....NO NO NO NO!!
Main function is for CALLING!! You pick up the phone, dial and talk..
If a phone can't do that in the first place, no point having it....
Word of the Wise: Apple better not MESS with Motorola.
HELLO MOTO for LIFE!

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2010There's no sense dwelling over an issue that apparently doe... moreI'm not dwelling on it you and apple are trying to claim "the problem exists with every phone". there have published biased tests that weekly support this claim. I am objecting to this claim. you are insisting upon it.
search my comments and you will see that I complimented apple on handing out free cases. they then went on to make this bogus claim. They then started posting videos badmouthing the competitors products. This behavior is objectionable, obnoxious.
This is not a civil suite.... legal ethics don't play well in the real world.

Meaning that a majority of the phone have the problem and the rest don't. But just because the minority has the problem and that the return rates are low, doesn't mean the problem is non-existent. Some people are complaining about it and returning it for a free Galaxy S.

xman, 23 Jul 2010according to gsmarena and consumer reports the IPHONE 4 doe... moreThere's no sense dwelling over an issue that apparently does not bother users. If the ip4's antennagate is such a big concern, it would greatly affect ip4 sales and it would have a high return rate.
The ip4 is still sold out in stores. Return rate is dismal. The ip4 works just fine :)

And again, if the ip4 drops calls, no one would buy it, which is obviously not the case because they cannot even meet the demands.

What's tiring to see, are non-ip4 users sharing issues that they are not experiencing at all :)
THE IPHONE4 DOES NOT DROP CALLS EVEN WHEN THAT BLACK STRIP IS TOUCHED.

Anonymous, 23 Jul 2010There are several videos already of samsung devices that we... morewere yet to see any video of active calls being dropped. The iPhone 4 has exbitted this behavior during INDEPENDENT unbiased tests. we are seeing video of off-nominally configured phones loosing 3G. The complaint with the iPHONE 4 is that is drops calls when one touch's a specific location on the phone. nobody cares about bar count we care about communication quality. all manufactures other than Apple seem to understand this. THAT IS WHY there phones aren't dropping calls. THE IPHONE 4 DROPS CALLS WHEN HELP INCORRECTLY OTHER PHONES DONT.
It truly tiring to have every discuion flooded with misinformation and outright lies from the iPhone faithful. get over it; you antenna design has a serious flaw. I wonder why the white one has been delayed? would a thin layer of insulation be added to antenna?

The ultimate determining factor of a device's success would be unit sales and customer satisfaction. Iphone4 excels in both factors, and that is all that matters :)

XMAN, 23 Jul 2010Samsung Galaxy s does not lose signal ...at & t must be... moreThere are several videos already of samsung devices that were shown to lose signal as soon as you grip it. So it's not just the iphone. And that video provided below of a samsung device death grip was under tmobil, not at&t. And before you criticize Apple for using 3rd party vendors for their hardware, you may want to look at samsung devices' software. They have symbian, android and winmo os. Their bada os didn't really take off.
