5 days ago same happened to my wifes s7. after mine went, we never updated my wifes but this update was done overnight without us knowing.
any comeback against samsung or any help restoring the phone. done all the tech bits on the web.

Since the other carriers allowed me to use data while on my phone, even after the update from Sprint which removed that feature, I knew it was not a Samsung issue, it was a Sprint issue. Their customer service told me the same thing (blamed it on Samsung) and then they wanted me to upgrade to the s8 or s9. My phone was less than a year old. Now that all the carriers are going to 4G exclusive, they are saying my phone is not compatible, yet it says it is LTE, therefore it should be compatible. Are you still having the issue?

My wifes S7 Edge just quit 3 days ago. We went to a repair place and they could not fix it. Went to the verizon store, and they could not fix it. Now, my S7 edge has done exactly the same thing. That pretty much tells me that this is a Samsung planned and executed assassination. Think I will go with another brand.

My S7 Edge at random will not let me disconnect when hitting the Red close call button, and....on some in coming calls it will ring 3 -4 time before any information will appear onto my screen too respond too.
My Family in Dallas Texas experienced the exact same thing on each of their phones too, and up graded to newer phones.
Well we all know what is happening there....I just want my phone issues corrected without having to upgrade, and then how long on that one until said upgrades are causing same issues too.
Just looking for a fix. Thank you all Mr. P

I sent a e-mail to Samsung Support and ask for advice. How is it possible that they are sending out updates that are not tested as they know it is not making problems for the customers. I am really pissed off and think next time it will be Iphone.

Samsung just updated my Galaxy S7. It will now only hard reboot, with the volume down/on off button. Sometimes it will only get to the Samsung animation and go back to the Android screen. Sometimes it will get to the AT&T animation and then go back to the Android screen. Once it opened the phone and then dumped back to the Android screen after I hit an app on my home page.

This update completely killed my phone. The update providers should responsible for this. Go on line to start a petition to sue this company.

Hi all! I also have a S7 dead after an update. It's doesn't power on or charge.
Already try several key combination but still no luck.

My S7e (Exynos) suddenly stopped working out of the blue after an security patch update a few days ago. It was stuck on a a boot loop, so I tried to force reboot it (vol down+power) and the screen went black, with only the blue led light flashing. Eventually that died out as well and now the phone is an unresponsive brick! (No button combo works, computer doesn't detect it, but the wireless charger does). Is there any way to fix this? Is it a hardware or software issue?

samsung goodbye, 05 May 2020samsung with every update reduce the battery and slow the p... moreHow did you downgrade the phone? I can't talk to people too much. My batter runs out fast and it's like I'm not near any towers to get a signal so I can make a hold a phone call.
