I pity any customer buying this phone for $148 and only gets 720p display for a 5.5" screen! That is like putting quarterHD in 5" display phone and selling it like overpriced. But of course the battery life will be awesome and speedy performance with octa core and all. I'm not buying it.-_-

Too bad, Xiaomi phones, or in fact all 'online' only phones, aren't shipping everywhere. Anyone would've gotten the Redmi Note 3, were it available for shipping.

Too many options for 5.5 out there, and i think its kinda hard to beat Xiaomi & Leeco, thats why better to hv 5 inch version with good spec, the 1 that xiaomi is lacking such as dedicated micro sd slot & LTE 3/7/8/20 (Just like with Zenfone 2)

All of these phones (redmi note 3 and asus zenfone max) have price tag at lower entry-level segment.. compared to ZUK Z1 even ZUK Z1 is still pricier at $200 price tag in India, if ZUK Z1 enter India with normal price, they will have $250 up to $300 price tag which is almost twice from cheapest zenfone max..

Fact that it comes straight with Marshmallow is nice.
But not sure how many customers will appreciate 720p on a 5.5" display and also why is the diff btw 2/3 gb a steep 3k!!!!

Useless for a little more you can buy a xiaomi redmi note 3, zuk z1, moto g4 plus etc etc with better specs the worst part is the overheating snapdragon 615 and and 720p screen for the same price or lesser you can get the xiaomi redmi note 3 with 1080p screen and 652 cpu Asus please launch the zenfone 3 with better specs so you can compete in the midrange

its like miracle for me i love asus and sonakshi both , well comw to the mobile now asus has come with perfect smartphone which has massive bettry n performnce too.
i m happy for asus has accounced sonakshi shinha as the brandambtr.

As usual no company is releasing a phone with usb c on the midrange
But at least this phone is less than 150$
No one can complain although there are many even if it was offered at 20$ they will
Samsung is charging more than 400$ for the same processor and specs

This is nice mobile I have seen over the last couple of months. Most of the features are very attractive for users! I wanna buy it. My friend bought it last week and he said battery backup and camera performance also very good.
