Antenn-aid for iPhone 4 is a custom sized vinyl sticker for your iPhone 4. When placed over the lower left corner of the antenna it may improve signal performance.
Antenn-aids act as a Band-Aid for iPhones and are designed to be placed over the lower left corner of the antenna, in the area where the signal dropping issues occur.
Almost any mobile phone in certain ways will reduce its reception by 1 or more bars. This is true of iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, as well as many Droid, Nokia and RIM phones. But some users have reported that iPhone 4 can drop 4 or 5 bars when tightly held in a way which covers the black strip in the lower left corner of the metal band.

Apple is a stupid company ! I'm Philips Fan but after used Nokia and SONY ERICSSON(Satio) I can says iPhone is the best device just a little bit limited. IPhone 4 will be my first Apple products! Tired to wait high end from SE!

Just becareful not to get any sticky man goo in the charger port cos mines never been right since. Great signal though.

the problem started about 3 months ago when a big guy of apple left his prototype on the bar tha he drunk beers last night.the fear of spying their prototype from other mobile companies really scares apple. so apple has to make it available on the markets too early to avoid any spying problems.so the phone is pushed to the market earlier and of course it will have problems like antenna failure.APPLE DIDNT HAVE THE TIME TO FIX THE PROBLEMS BECAUSE OF LOOSING THEIR PROTOTYPE.

a great phone is not driv e you how to holding your phone right..i hold my phone in an y position without any antenna reception problems even dropped the calls..lol

We brought one and we are happy.
If you don't like the iphone don't buy it.Don't buy it, if you
can't learn how to hold it right either, then don't come on here saying its an issue when its a lie right.

I personally think Apple didnt handle this saga well enough. It dosent take anything to accept that there was a glitch in their product and to say that they are working hard to correct this. At least we all know they are trying to meet up in this competitive sector. Public Relations - ZERO

Don't worry guys, one year from now Steve will release the IPhone 5, for just 800€ the new toy will have the antenna's problem fixed. Then be prepared to save another 800€ and in 2012 Apple will make a phone with an amazing bluetooth, and you will be able to transfer files. Then in 2013 there will be Iphone 7, with the micro SD, and you could save files on the data card without using the interface "Itunes" Amazing! Within a few years there will be an iphone with the technology already used by others since 2003, but Apple fans knows thay have to be patient and Steve will make them happy:-)

And those r the people doing a big favour to Apple by accepting a product like this... Apple give them a phone far worse they will also accept it...

or just put some stripe over the gap, or better over the whole side of phone. Waiting for more beautiful solution (also free :-) from Apple. And ofc the best solution is not to touch the phone at all during call - use Hands-free :-) I wonder how come Steve Jobs did not proposed that solution.... :-D LOL

Silly ppl really silly...
that gap doesn't mean only that small gap u hold it will have problem.. it mean as long as ur hand are "short" the antenna on top and the bottom together.. then u have problem...
the only way to hold it without short the 2 gap.. u can either hold the phone with 2 of ur fingers on the very bottom.. of very top.. or middle... without shorting the middle body to the bottom antenna.. then u are fine..
so... we should go to Apple special class to learn how to hold an Iphone4 first...
