and yes, X and X performance is over priced! and I still prefer Z series

Expensive: A relatively high value of a product's real worth.
Overpriced: Self-explanatory.
For what a smartphone's worth is, and its worth among competitors, I encourage you to enumerate possible "reason/s for Sony's pricing".

I'll tell you what, those screaming "overpriced," THEY ARE NOT OVERPRICED. They're just expensive. Save up, it's not Sony's problem that you can't afford their's. Don't get offended, I meant nothing. You're paying for something and that's for you to find out. Do your research. Again, it won't be Sony's problem if you fail to see what they have to offer. The rest, they're priced that for a reason.

I have to admit that their strategy, marketing and production chain are all atrocious. Pricing is a problem but that because they don't suitably promote the value in their products. There is more to Sony phones than just the specs, and anyone who's used an Xperia knows this, but I can understand why those that haven't are unattracted by Sony's pricing.
Having said that I do think that the X & X performance are significantly overpriced even compared to the Z5.

well, Sony profiting , or not from their mobile division it's not my problem or concerns... as long as they manufactures good products that I enjoy and that fulfill all my PERSONAL needs in a smartphone, and that I can offord for it, then i'm good. So, marketing stuff ain't my business. like samsung or apple's marketing success is very big world wide and it's #1, what's my interests in all that as a consumer? ohh i'd be happy when seeing them profiting? as if they'd share it with me? ....i don't care them make millions or trillions... this is the company's benefits not the consumer's. just manufacture the phone/product i need and i pay for it. that's it. or you think as a consumer that any manufacturer will really have that big concerns for their customers same like their profiting concerns?.. that would be a joke!!! they all do offer a warranty as a part of the product but never a favor. so let's make sense at this point. I'm as a Sony product lover (not just smartphone).. as I never cared about their profiting levels in every FY, but all I cared about their products and that's it. and so far Sony is my favorite electronic manufacturer and this is my personal choice whether it'll be the opposite of many other user opinions, still I don't care. each has their own preference. THAT'S IT
