                    HTC has gone mad! Lolol

Just curious, what's the annual income of a typical working 30-something year old in India to afford something expensive like this?

Plenty of cheap ICE view covers then.. unlikely they sell more than one of these phones (the one will be sold to carrier as display model).

                                HTC's pricing strategy baffles me.

Yes, this is a great phone (well, reviews certainly make it seem as if it will turn HTC's fortunes), but why overprice it? As it is, they missed a trick by not introducing it in India earlier.

And when they finally do, they price it at par with a G5 - between the Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge. Ridiculous.

Cat in hell's chance that they'll improve their already abysmal market share.

They haven't understood the Indian market. HTC used to be a top player once. Too bad they couldn't keep that position.

No way that people in India are gonna buy this over the gorgeous S7 or S7 edge. Moreover people in India who spend money on premium phones only buy Samsung S/Note series or the iPhones. No value for HTC.
