      BBM is by far the best messaging app out there. A lot of people left BlackBerry after the media hammered the snot out of them with false information and rumors. Anyone interested in privacy and confidentiality will recognize the superiority of BBM over all other messaging apps. The voip calling is better than what's app as well.

        So many messaging apps, they all do practically the same thing some a little better than others. Heck I barely use FB messenger and that's the most popular one here apparently. I do like Telegram though just don't know that many people who use it.

          Julliard, 27 May 2016Yeah, go ahead list it all down. It doesn't change the fact... moreYou don't need to have a username if you don't want to. Nobody is forcing you.

          Basically,

          Whatsapp=iOS
          Telegram=Android

          For simplicity go to iOS for features go to Android.

              AnonD-51393, 27 May 2016Yes, Telegram was a copy of Whatsapp, but then they had: ... moreYeah, go ahead list it all down. It doesn't change the fact Whatsapp is more trustworthy. Security feature has been introduced. Unlike Telegram, Whatsapp consume less data. No need invite since the whole world is using it anyway. I wouldn't want to bother asking my friends or family to go download Telegram that they never even heard of. The emojis in Whatsapp is definitely better and more popular. It is always updated. All features are well thought. Call is available. People can't find you using your username unlike Telegram which for me is an attack of privacy.

                  At our office we're now using Telegram & Skype as primary communication.
                  Whatsapp only for personal chats.
                  No one use BBM anymore.

                          - Web interface before Whatsapp
                          - Detailed link previews before Whatsapp
                          - Document viewer before Whatsapp

                          So, who's copying who now?

Whatsapp exist since 2010 and all of a sudden Telegram is made in 2013 with the exact same feature and exact same looks. Even the double ticks! Copy copy copy. Btw, your Telegram only takes up that tiny blue portion of the map. Don't get ahead of yourself. The whole world is not Telegram user. Whatsapp is always better.
