Eee... I used Xposed module like this exactly year ago, I think it was ForceTouchModule, and few months ago I tried few apps that used similar technique for selecting and it actually worked really good, and I need to say that comparing to iPhone, in everyday usage there is no real difference and for additional icon/menu selecting it's perfect. As far as I like additional useful way to interact this method is not that amazing as they say and even iPhone can't give that usability as they advertised. Mostly because people are actually 2D persons and we really not compatible with 360/3D videos and this. We just can't focus on more that two b00bs... I mean two things.

You had the 3, and then the 3gs that was the same. Then the 4 and the 4s that was the same. Then the 5 and the 5s that was the same. Then the 6 and the 6s that was the same.
You're quite clearly saying apple would break their formula and do something unlike what they've done in the past. I mean, its possible that they would if they're in a rush to introduce a new design that they couldn't practically implement in 2016, but let's not pretend it would be the same as what they've done so far.

so to get edge to edge display you need oled..so its related one to other.
Until now all are rumours but god, even the analysts says the iphone 7 will not be sold very well because everybody waits for the iphone 8 next year
iphone 2 iphone 3 iphone 3gs 4 4s 5 5s 5c 6 6 plus ..you get the idea..Apple from time to time change their marketing and their game, so only 3 generations had only s .
But hey i am speaking based on rumours but because since iphone 5 all the rumours (not concepts) came true for most....i bet the next year will be the major change and not this one

It would only happen if Apple change the way they do things. Plausible but not probable. Given their recent decline in sales I'd day its Kore probable than normal, but I still wouldn't get my hopes up just because of some rumour that doesn't even seem possible.

And Apple always celebrates big for 10th anniversary for a device. like mac with the first 5k display in the world and now they must come up with something big for the iphone

Trust me Apple and every-other company is working for a device more than just 1 year.So the leaks can be true. Home button into the display can happen thanks to the 3d touch

The fact, is that Samsung will provide the displays and you may get a thinner device or better battery (finally).
