Samsung built a 5.5 inch 4K smartphone screen for VR

28 May, 2016
Remember when just a few short years ago, the smartphone industry was shifting from 720p (1280x720px) to 1080p (1920x1080px) displays and we thought: What for? We don’t need so much resolution just to read text and see pictures off the screen, right?

That's nice. If it would be possible, they should have "coded(for hardware)" or have an option for the phone what resolution will be used or enabled. So that if in case these phones will only be used for basic needs, it will never consume lots of battery.

I'd find this reasonable, smart, and interesting if they'll make 720p resolution as a back compatibility

        350 nits? hahaa...
