Yiannis, 01 Jun 2016so you think 720p on a 5incher is not enough?
Not enoug... moreNot buying a phone for having a 1mah battery or 1mhz processor is not called specs whore, at a certain level you can judge by specs, but in other cases you can't
720p is low for 5"3 is definitely low for me(277ppi)!
I think anything near 400 is good! 1080p would be good enough. and I think unless you owuld like to use it as a vr screen 2k would be too much!

Samsung the next to release an X series after Sony and LG?

It's official, LG is the old Samsung: Not a single, decent, mid-range device launched since the 2014 L-series, instead, they launched a plethora of underpowered, overpriced devices intermittently.
Even Samsung has gone sober with their new 2016, refreshed J-series offerings, albeit a few annoying compromises (sensors)

Put this battery on their next flagship or the next V series and it will sell very well...

Cheap and good battery looks like a good option. 8 mp camera is fine in broad daylight. At least ok on my Xperia Ultra.

AnonD-190634, 31 May 2016720p?........so you think 720p on a 5incher is not enough?
Not enough when the vast majority of laptops are 720p on 15inches?
Don't be spec whores... see the beyond numbers. 720p is more than fine for a mobile device.

Looks like LG took a leaf out of the lumia 650 when they made the style. Underpowered but pretty. And also overpriced.

That's not how this ... moreIf people are just going to make pointless comments then that's exactly how it works. Saying 'it's rubbish' helps no one. The way I see it, opinion and reason are equally required. What's helpful about wishing for specs this clearly is not going to have or just saying the cpu is rubbish and less powerful than a flagship's? 95% of the comments on here are unhelpful and ultimately pointless.
Other than that. I agree with you. I wasn't aware the Style was thinner so I have more information, thank you.

That's not how this works, that's not how any of this works!
Other than that I agree on most of your points. These are entry level phones. And the "Style" is named that probably because it's much thinner than the other one, because otherwise they look the same to me. Anyway, Lenovo should be all over their ass...

ssbatman21, 31 May 2016anybody who wants to spend $200 on a smartphone have much b... moreXactly! Accounting for the handsets specs and prices alone and discounting after-sales services by the companies, Lenovo undeniably offers more value for money with their ZUK Z2 at a jaw-dropping price of $275 sans whatever. What wonderful thing could someone who wants to buy any of these two possibly get enticed with? Would they buy 'cause they like the battery capacity high at 4,100mAh? Would they see the design, which has zero back buttons but operates with software keys, a spectacle to behold? Would they be beguiled by the MT6735 or the S410 at $200 or $180, respectively? Or that, just because LG is one of the more known and more accessible brand, everything on the X Power and X Style could suddenly be forgiven with all due respect for the brand, even if both handsets back-trend terrible StBrs?

Yet people still do it! If you don't like it, don't comment.
These phone, ladies and gentlemen - and bad spellers - are LG's upcoming ENTRY-MIDRANGE X series. They are NOT flagships phones, they do NOT have flagship prices, they are NOT flagships.
Rant over.
However, I must say, through the research I've come across, the 410 is inferior in the CPU department and the 6735 is inferior in the GPU department, so they're sort of balanced...sort of. There are much better chipsets out there that could've been used without raising prices or using more power. A 4100mAh sounds impressive but it really isn't anymore. Oukitel and Elephone have monster batteries in their phones (10,000mAh and 6,000mAh respectively). This 4100mAh is only a headline because it's a big name brand doing it. End of the day these are what they're supposed to be, entry-midrange phones. Simple really.

If LG want a huge selling point..why not give their Flagship a huge 4000+mAh battery and have a huge leg up on their competition.
Also I think a 1080p screen would have been a perfect fit for these two phones.
I am hoping the 2016 V10 will come with such a size battery, also their new onscreen fingerprint scanner tech, screen and camera improvements.
