01 June, 2016
The specs we know so far include a 5.5-inch AMOLED 1080p screen and a Snapdragon 820 chipset with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM.

All specs are known now, much similar to all the flagships released so far with different RAM options. All that matters is price tag to compete with different Chinese flagships. It would be good if they come up with little budget version of the OP-3 like OP 3 mini to compete with much crowded 200$ phones.

Let me see, it has 6GB that nobody needs and asked for, and 5.5 inch combined with 1080p, yeah, NO thanks.

Even though I think its awesome I'm still a little cautious about what sacrifices had to be made to be able to afford to get a BMW subsidiary to design the body, to get Dolby speakers, etc, while keeping the price as low as they are.

Business is brutal, there's no points for trying. I'm not going to give hard earned money to get a product that's a part of a very faulty product line.

[deleted post]But it doesnt pack Front facing Dolby Atmos Surround speakers with independent sound chips and internal amp for its headphone jack and QHD Super Amoled display from Samsung :). Sure, its a great phone, just not nearly as impressive ^^. Okay, in all seriousness, no phone is nearly as impressive, yet... Even the HTC M10 is behind in audio and when HTC is behind in sound quality, theoritically, then damn...

It is a huge deal with people working to make things happen, and not everyone get the right people. Well to put things in perspective, when you run a company you'll know what critics mean, right now it's just people yapping that oneplus doesn't provide enough, when they don't know what oneplus took to build a phone.

[deleted post]I thought they were speaking from the perspective of consumers, not suppliers. If you think its so good then lets see if the sales reflect that.
One plus one was only good because it wasn't happening at the time, now more official brands are making real flagship killers and the op3 doesn't hold a candle to them. They've made too many mistakes in the past and have given people too many faulty devices. I'd rather get the premium looking zte axon 7.
