I've always though the slider design with a full keyboard would be a great idea. I like it on the Palm Pre, the keybord just sucked on it, least I thought so. This phone is very good looking though. It would have been nice for them to give it a touch more memory. I think the device it's self looks amazing though. It's got a great form to it, and just looks very well built, but all Blackberry phones are good quality, for the most part. I'm with T-Mobile, so I won't be getting this one, but I've never really liked being the first one to get the new models, because 2-3 months a new version will come out that'll probably be better anyways.

I think it might be a smart move for Blackberry introducing the slide design, guess we'll see how popular its going to be!

Nice keyboard configuration. I wish it was done years ago, but no one would do anything good until Pal Pre which is nice phone but hardware a bit lacking comparing to competition coupled with then completely new OS and resulting lack of useful third party apps. I am not sure BB phone is for me (general unfamiliarity, 5mp camera), but I will take the another look. Just in case. At least to evaluate things again.

This looks really good, I hope that this touch screen from blackberry is a lot more stable than the 2 storm models, they were truly awful.

if sony ericsson released the P5i then they'd be the first ever to release a slider phone with qwerty keypad--just like this BB Torch..
But anyway, seems like RIM has made the right phone with good form factor and design.. Hope the os is not boring..
