It's frustrating that HR monitoring is not real-time. It won't check heart beat rate unless manual touch, it's sensor also fails frequently. Go for Fitbit if you have money. Requesting Xiaomi to be transparent.

There are however apps that make it possible to measure 24/7, every 2/5/10/60 etc minutes. The one I use for Android costs just 2 euros and includes many other functionalities too.

Can someone please help answer the following questions regarding the Xiaomi Mi Band 2?
1) Does it monitor heart rate 24X7 or just when the button is hit?
2) Does it measure Calories Burnt during the day?
3) Does it measure the distance covered during the day?
