The $23 Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is now official

After quite a few leaks and even a couple of early an still ongoing pre-sales events, Xiaomi's latest fitness tracker was officially unveiled today. Despite its name, the Mi Band 2 is actually the third installment of the extremely popular wearable, but, unlike the Mi Band 1S, which offered only a minor upgrade over its predecessor, the Mi Band 2 is quite different from previous generations.

              Finally, a band that I can use.
              if the price actually $23 in my country, I will definitely buy it.

              although I like the Microsoft band 2 better (haven't own one, but I like the model and feature) but the price is just so freaking high (I can purchase another cheap Xiaomi phone for the price of Microsoft Band 2)

              and btw, please also include an app for Windows Mobile
              "coming from a person who use Windows Mobile as primary phone"

                I hope actual performance matches its advertising materials. I have the Mi band pulse. The device looks great physically, and the app looks clean, but actual usability is not so great as the device tend to disconnect, and the sleep detection is not reliable.

                            Unbelievable price :)

                            Owned a Samsung gear S2 classic which is great (both visually and functionally... umm also much more pricier) but will give this a try.

                              A Note 4 user, 02 Jun 2016Does it have timer/stopwatch? that's the only thing i need.I'm afraid not. You need more than one button to start/stop and reset for stopwatch. One button and no touch screen hardly enough for that. That aside, I think this one is good enough for me. With this, I can ditch my watch for good.
