A: You know, the 3GS has the same problem. We're getting reports from customers that this is better than the 3GS. So I don't know changing the antenna design would help -- I don't know what our next antenna design will look like.

A: You know we hear from customers who love this phone and have a great experience with it, and we're doing a lot to help them with any issues they're seeing. To investors,you invest in the company we are, so if the stock goes down $5... I don't think I owe them an apology.

A: No, we strive to do both. For instance, we make the phone smaller, so it fits well in your pocket... the Retina Display... it's like a fine printed book, it blows away other displays. It costs a little more, but we made it work. The iPhone 4 is an exterior antenna, so it doesn't live inside the case, we have a larger battery for better battery life. We try to have our cake and eat it too, we try to have great design and great performance.
(Without zooming everything is still same..I means in web browser or image viewing..so you said that "retina display" is over than human eyes can see,why you made it again??? Rubbish thing..)
Q: Will there be refunds for AT&T contracts?
A: I believe so, yes.

The freaking/ flawed IPhone 4 badly needs this antenna.
AT&T why dont u suggest Apple to install it on their IPhone 4 instead of giving free cases, come on, grow up, you(AT&T) have something called as reputation, don't you..
The Iphone 44 is a JOKE. Dump it and get the sophisticated Nokia N8. Even Mr Jobs has pre- ordered it, that's the only one smart thing Steve has done in his entire life and not to forget the second smart thing that he did was to probably contact the POLICE inorder to arrest the person who picked up the proto- type IPHone 4 from the BAR when the drunk Apple employee left it there after having his booze. All Apple engineers are drunk. They probably need to go to some rehab centre.

Unfortunately, most of the mobile stores here in Brazil are partnered with a mobile operator, so they sell unlocked, sim-free mobiles at a very expensive price to force people to buy a subsidized locked mobile at interesting prices but with heavy strings attached.
Luckily, if you know where to look, there are still some few stores which sell sim-free mobiles cheaper and you can get them usually at half of the price of those sold on partner stores.
ha, if you think that 1030 euros is expensive, you should have seen the price of the first iphone at it release... you almost had to sell your kid to buy one :D

I bought my Milestone in Brazil for 300 dollars on the release week thanks to my cellphone operator. Probably I´ll get the Galaxy S or another better on next year for the same amount.
Problem here is almost everybody want a bleeding edge cellphone, but to use as a prepaid...not even a data plan.

If they can manage to fit the tv areial in there why cant they fit a flash there for the versions without it :S. I have the galaxy S and love it. Only thing missing is a flash but saying that the camera is ok in low light but not great.

In Brazil it is normal to devices like this cost this much, I remember that when N97 was release, launched it cost about the same price and the iPhone costs much more then this Samsung Galaxy S, In Brazil because of a 1844 Act, the import taxes are really high, so, basically, everything that comes from abroad costs the double or 3,4,5 times more then it costs in the origin country
