This reminds me one of the old days when we used to go "Wow" at Nokia N98 with the ability to transform itself to mini-notepad for increased productivity. Why can't the manufactures take Nokia's boom age (2003-2011) as an inspiration and create their own at the current trend to boost their product demands?

During that same time and place, Sony also presented their flexible OLED display.

Linas, 08 Jun 2016What is wrong with their software... obviously another baby... moreWhat he meant is:

            Samsung's hardware = good
Samsung's choice in OS (Android) = poor

They should have went for anything else rather than Android. Heck, even Symbian would've been better if they were to get rights from Nokia over it. (and improve it, ofc)

This is where real novelty begins, not like Apple which releases something significant only once a few years but sheep still raise it as a winner company.

zodiacfml, 07 Jun 2016I don't think it will have a seamless display. The problem is not the screen being seamless, it will be. But there is a limit to how much you can bend this before it damages the actual LCD. So the best format would be the one shown (book) or something like a phone prop that was used in a series called "Earth final Conflict" (Jim Roddenberry) it basically was a handheld part that you would unwrap the screen from.
If you search online for all examples of the flexible screen you will notice the limit of how far you can bent it at current technology.
