Many people say that 8800 knows nothing about performance. They should realize that this phone is a special one, making itself famous by its look and design

If i was rich enough.. Id be one.. then walk around like i dont know.. some rich guy and talk about rich stuff, like how Marry and Lucy really are hurting of Double Tenis chances.. might have to drop by the highschool and find some more ho's (Y)

C'mon people. If they priced this phone according to features, it would be worth about $500 and lots of people would have one. It would lower the image of the phone and only white-trash would buy it. Therefore it would ruin the whole idea of the phone which is that it's a status symbol. I spent $150 on a polo shirt that I could have got for $7, but it was branded. It's the same with phones, it raises you above the average person. As for features, people who can afford this type of phone, don't want garbage 1.3mp camera's because they have decent camera's. In my opinion high end phone users like to make and recieve calls.

Nothing screams "I don't own an Aston Martin!" like an Aston Martin phone.

I like some of Nokia phones, but this one is nothink else, but PEAK OF VANITY. Short memory, camera from deep past, uncomfortable buttons, no card slot, short life battery and Aston Martin trade mark for laptop price :) This kind of positioning strategy is simply fanny. This phone target market is people, who don't know where to put their money or promotion victims.

                        To S1lver:
I hope you haven't spent all your money for this boring, vain phone, otherwise you probably suffering big loss

WOW!!!!! one more in a list of useless phones, the 8800 is at best an expensive paperweight. useless battery life makes it worthless for anyone who uses their phone away from recharge points. do nokia really think that people will be fooled by a cheap bit of etching and some extras that can easily be obtained on the net for very little. it's just as well that the actual Aston Martin itself lasts a bit longer or there'd be one hell of a pile up in the morning rush hour. why dont nokia do somethin useful and sort out the actual problems with this phone rather than try and cover it all up with some cheap and tacky marketing. I work for O2 online sales and we pulled this phone out of circulation after only a few days because we realised how bad it actually is and i dont think that this new 'upgrade' will even get a second glance from the boardroom.

                                This is so pointless !!!

Why dun Aston Martin/NOKIA just gave it away to all Aston Martin car owner ? It will be more exclusive this way . . .

I have bought my black Nokia 8800 for 1599 dolars, so this is not so overpriced as You think. The phone itself is soo beautiful..sometimes I just take it from the black cloth cover just to have a look at it...some may, and some won't understand what this phone is about. If You like precious, luxurious design in a relatively affordable price, buy it, if not, simply don't!

Motorola did something similar years back with the V600. It was Aston Martin themed, looked very nice .... and WASNT MASSIVELY OVERPRICED.

If you can afford an aston martin, you can probably afford something better than an 8800 ... ie. a Vertu with the extra services that come with the more expensive branding.
