TC, 17 Aug 2010A very high price for an outdated phone. N8 is all about th... morethe only phone that gave symbian a "always crashing" name is the n97. Nokia and symbian became so incredibly popular BECAUSE of thier high stability. You have no idea wat you're talking about...all the phones u listed dont have HALF the features the n8 has and the n8 is only a mid-range nokia phone. so sit down big boy...

The N8 destructs all of the phones you mention, and before you start yapping, no CPU speed in itself means nothing. Kthxbai

This is the price I expected the phone to be released at, not 470 Euro. Within 3 months, the price will fall to around 400 Euro or US$500 or maybe a bit lower.

A very high price for an outdated phone. N8 is all about the camera with xenon flash, if you want a more alround phone then buy HTC Desire. Symbian is famous for its many crashes and this is still just a modified Symbian OS with low screen resolution and traditionally nokia-small battery, and the battery is not easily removable wich will be a BIG problem because of Symbians many crashes where removing the battery is the only solution.

I remember that 370 euro was before taxes and subsidies. That article is still there on nokia conversation blog.

GSMarena have mostly fairly accurate reporting but I have to make a point that the 370 euro was meant to be BEFORE taxes.
Not a fanboy, but the tone of the article re the price was a bit harsh, especially when the article info was wrong in the first place.

decent specs but processor is too slow. 600mghz gets slow very quickly. A phone with such specs and price should at least have 1ghtz

that price puts N8 on par with Galaxy S in my country... unfortunatelly for nokia my price limit for cameraphone is 400 Euro. Otherwise i would buy n8 "on sight" :-)

Well its looks like the #N8 is going to be another due from Nokia. Again buy the Wave and rate while getting a vastly better package.
