So, the conclusion is:
Redmi 3 : Snapdragon 616, 16 GB / 2 GB configuration, NO fingerprint
Redmi 3 pro : Snapdragon 616, 32 GB / 3 GB configuration, with fingerprint
Redmi 3s : Snapdragon 430, 16 GB / 2 GB or 32 GB / 3 GB configuration, with fingerprint
Other spec between those 3 phones are same.

S430 is not better than S616 (since they offer around the same amount of processing power), probably more power-efficient and less prone to heating.

There was Redmi 3. Then there was Redmi 3 Pro which had fingerprint sensor as well as IR Blaster. And now this Redmi 3s. And of all the three, none will ever see light of the day in India. Its been more than a year since Redmi 2 was launched and it hasn't seen a upgrade in form of Redmi 3 or Redmi 3 Pro/Prime or Redmi 3s. Its high time they give Redmi 2 an upgrade in India.
