I wonder if Dash Charge is really just a renamed QC3.0. Is Dash Charge software and hardware tuned by OnePlus, too?

finally an answer.....
5.5" 1080p amoled is okay even for media surfing.
m using galaxy note 4 ryt now and i honestly cant tell any difference between 1080p and quad hd on these screens.
i believe quad hd should be limited to tv and monitors.....
even that vr hype is gonna die soon......
i do hope that they give us good colour accuracy in this display and sd820 on its 14nm manufacturing process should be extremely power efficient.
am expecting above 80hrs endurance rating on gsmarena battery test with atleast 13+ hours on video playback on 200 nits......

""The microSD slot was removed because cards are slow (compared with UFS 2.0) and the slot makes the device bulkier.""
hahahahhahahha... Sometimes when I hear OEMs excuses I seriously cant stop laughing, especially when their own devices use usb-c type... but with 2.0 speeds
Not to mention that actual speed of transferring data from PC->phone memory and PC->SDcard .... is almost the same, and all other difference is marginal.
Speed of sending 2GB movie on my Xperia Z3 is the same as on Galaxy S7 or any other phone.

It's still vibrant as ever. And I used it nonstop all day for games and videos. He does the same. Maybe if you left it in direct sunlight everyday all day for a month then it would get damaged, but overall the quality is far better than lcd panels

"slow" storage is always better than no storage. and bulky? those things are tiny. the OP3 isn't even slimmer than other phones that do have the slot.
what a fake excuse. i don't get it... expandable storage is a big deal for many people, i think. not having the mSD slot is a deal breaker for me. and it can't be expensive to have that slot. even the cheapest phones have it. and the OP3 doesn't have storage options either, so they're not even trying to make money with that like Apple prominently does.
i must be missing something crucial...

This can be a major turn-off to some, and a lot of people will choose IPS panels over this, even though the viewing angle (as far as brightness is concerned) isn't as good.

Anonymous, 15 Jun 2016> Display mate has given the Samsung super amoled the be... moreTo be honest AMOLED screens DO have quite good image, but the problem is that alot of reviewers receive review units, meaning that they have been cherry-picked so they get the best screens (since AMOLED screens vary very much in quality to one another, each screen will have its individual level of black-crush or color banding (where the screen looks uneven, as in you display a single color on the screen and it's darker at the top of the screen than it is at the bottom, all screens have that, it's just that alot of people don't notice it!)) so they don't have any problems. Another problem is that their review maybe takes a few days at most. Problem is, AMOLED always did and STILL does (the most recent device I've tested is the galaxy tab S2, screen is already worn out after 6 months of HEAVY usage, what a joke) wear out rather fast. so your screen might look good when it's new. But after a year or two? or if you're a heavy user even less than that? it might not look so good anymore.
But again, most people just don't care about quality! Which is why companies like Samsung get away with this.
