6GB has already been conquered, now we look forward to another couple of gigs.

Why not? 8gb it is! I'm not going to say no to this advancement. 8gb ram flagship. If anything, this will bring the prices of 4gb ram smartphone down to the same level of mid-ranger. 2gb ram phone will be consider budget phone/ entry level. Well, isn't that nice.

    3 months later letv (or any Chinese co.): will work on 32gb Ram Smart phone
    Benefits : help in VR etc.

      I really do not understand the mad race behind gobs of RAM in the Android world , especially since so many phones have their firmware struggling to keep apps open in background. Case in point , OnePlus 3 (reference GSMArena blog). Apple iPhone 6S Plus with just 2GB of RAM is the speedtest champ in nearly all comparisons.

        yeah...my old lapt is 768p, new one 1080p..but my tiny phone has QHD..maybe its time to go for discreete memory instead??
