My Galaxy S7 can eat all sony high end (supposed) devices for breakfast at once it's still the most powerful phone out there now imagine what the new coming S8 is capable to do!

So the processor will be beast then. Even if not full fime uhd, I cannot wait to compare battery performance to Z5p - it was very bad.

If I am a fan boy then only because they are the best.i do have Z5 compact too because that is the best compact phone available in Android. UHD Display... hmm and more mega specs, i think is very 3x Expensive then S7 or S6 and one else why not using SUHD Display..

Dual cameras are okay. They can provide an extra wide angle like the G5 which is simply amazing. However, I'm against the UHD setup, which is a wastage of battery and the high resolution display will tend to give you an "awesome" picture clarity, when you are using camera/video, But in real it is not, just normal. It was my experience using the sony's first Xperia Series. The images that I shot looked awesome in the phone screen and when transferred to a PC, it looked horrible.

Samsung giving what customers wants while apple gives iPhone then order customers to like it... That's the difference........

Crapshoot, 20 Jun 2016Currently even the Galaxy S7 edge with ultra HD display can... moreSamsung consistently use QHD for their flagship, and so far no Samsung Galaxy have UHD.
Upping the resolution cost battery life and more importantly in VR, it'll cost FPS in VR.
VR have absolute minimum FPS to make it usable and not causing nausea. Samsung may have sidelined the UHD as they wait more powerful and less power consuming SoC that able to support VR in UHD.

The IR blaster is a much more useful feat... moreis this just a rumour , AGAIN , purely to stop Samsung buyers from buying the new Note 7, putting people in promise land, to make them wait to spend money on Samsung, .... the phone industry holds its breath to see if they can halt samsungs popularity. Note is looking good.

Just admit it, you don't even have the money to buy it even if Samsung or Sony made a smartphone with more than 850ppi. I also wonder whether all the people complaining here are absolutely rich; they keep demanding stuff that most average people can't even afford.
