To be honest, VR on phones it´s a Gimmick, they don't show the appropriate performance without mention that its a battery hog, you´ll run out of battery with a few minutes of VR, besides VR shows to be more focused on pc and consoles rather than phones... Just a humble opinion.. and c´mon UHD quality on a tiny screen it´s simply useless

It's not the best for VR but better than any other phones. Just use it and compare other best like lphone 6s. S8 UHD with gearVR will be there with perfect VR experience...

For normal usage where VR isn't being used, i think 1440p screens are the sweet spot.

Anyone who is using a VR headset will understand why it's to be OK to use UHD display in mobile phones..... For normal usage FHD display is enough.. For reference use an galaxy S7 with gearVR and experience yourself what I am talking about. Word of advice...... Never try to use an iPhone 6S plus in a VR headset. Believe me... It's a disaster for someone who used S7 with gearVR. For the rest of the people...... Stop commenting about the things you don't know..... Please stop..... For God sake......

How can we ever get MORE than a day usage out on these bloody CELLPHONES if these morons keep increasing the screen density. This is fine for big screen TV's but completely wasted on 5,x" devices!!!
Somsong, I'd rather have IR-blaster back than yet another increase in pixels :-(
Which I don't even see! Don't these morons get it, that when we get older our eyesight gets WORSE not better... giving us more pixels at such a small surface won't do squat!

People keep bitching about Samsung. But it is still the global leader when it comes to smart phones. The S6 was awesome, the S7 is probably gonna beat the other phones that come out next year as well. So Samsung has gotta come up with something ryt. And They r doin it better than the rest of the phone industry.
