Microsoft boasts about battery life on Edge browser VS other top browsers

20 June, 2016
Today, Windows released a new “experiment” to promote its own built-in browser that may users may be hesitant to fully switch to (me included). It’s important for Microsoft to up its own browser game, especially since it’s already installed on every Windows 10 machine in the world.

I'm using edge in my windows phone, no other choice for me. It lags and crash so frequently, this experiment doesn't prove anything but Microsoft incompetent. Anything other than office is rubbish from Microsoft, not even edge browser in phone and pc

Well, on MS phones, even if you 'switch' browsers it is just an app that runs over the edge code.

And edge browser isn't available on android or IOS so there's that too.

Sadly, with that 7hrs of endurance, you're gonna spend 3+hrs to wait for the lag and the webpages to load. Nope. I had used Edge for a month after the release of Windows 10 and I switched to Chrome.

Love using edge. It will be excellent if its reliability improve further and adding a few more feature into it.
