people are making it look like the curved screen is a great tragedy when sales figures for the s7 edge points objectively otherwise. so what if there isn't a non-curved screen note 7? does the screen define the purpose of the phone? not in any way! people just love to nitpick so they look like they have something to say when in fact they're just as insignificant as ants are to an elephant.

People who have never multi-tasked on a phone like the Note Edge with the curved screen won't understand the utility until forced to use it. Then the light will go on. There's a certain brilliance to using the edge of the screen for text messaging, calls and other innocuous stuff while you are performing your primary task or reading on the main screen.
They said the stylus was silly and outdated, they said big phones were passe in a world of ever shrinking technology, they said no one could beat CrApple. So far "they" haven't been too bright.

Si... moreUgh... LiveTiles = UGLY... Sorry, just my opinion (though sales figures do agree with me).
The problem with LiveTiles and to the same extent, Android Live Wallpaper, is that it wastes battery... so no thanks.

Samsung'll get it terribly wrong by not offering a flat screen variant of the Note 7. Most people who opt for the Note want it not for the aesthetics but for the utility and functionality the stylus and bigger screen provide. I doubt I'll be going for one if there's no flat screen. I really don't care much about a curved screen and there's a great number of people like moi around the world.

I haven't understood the usage of a curved screen yet . I think it's totally useless and in some extent annoying invention . Shame on you dear Samy ;-)

flat or curved, it doesn't matter in the slightest. what i'm after is its utility and the myriad of things i can do for my work with the s pen and the phone's multitasking prowess. can't august come any faster?

it is to be parralel to note 3 and 4 the same type that when outgoing or incoming call come the photo should be large not small one. The speaker should be on the right hand side not on the back side of the mobile the touching screen the same like note 3 and 4 with sound

It makes me question are you ... moreit's up to him/her whether that person wants to buy samsung or not, it's his money not yours? it's up to him whether he wants to spend his money on curved samsung or flat samsung.. and there are some people still wants flat-screen phone than curved-screen phone, just like people wants a phone with 3.5mm jack instead without it.. so why bother?
I still remember a couple years ago, samsung fans begged for next Samsung Galaxy S comes with full metal body, but Samsung still use plastic, then their sales isn't hit their target expectation and then fired their chief designer

Until then it is onl... morei agree, i remember the Note 4 Edge getting bad sales due to it not being very productive for what the note series is supposed to do. Also that back glass over the note 4 plastic matte cover is also kind of a minus for me.
