If many brand wanna make own Os, hope google make their Own hardware (phone) because google did it on Tablet & Chromebook
But if they make it (phone), hope available on midrange & high end
I also hear google working on their own chip

Gsmarena you should also add (in case Google dies like Symbian or WebOS or BB7 or Windows Phone 6) it would make a lot of sense then.

Yes it good to be ur own OS like apple and google for Nexus devices, such a giant enterprise can't depend on any thing like that.......

I don't recommend it by I don't mind it either. HUAWEI Stick to what you know better which is making great phones with a killer hardwares .

I wish they acquire sailfish OS from Those former Nokia guys..... It's really nice OS.... Huawei can develop and finish that OS and Huawei has their own hardware that means top notch phone with zero vulnerabilities.....
