Linas, 23 Jun 2016I am cycling hater, hate all those clogging the lanes, not ... moreas much as i want to plow over a bunch of bicyclers 20km/h is actually rediculously slow. its 10 mph , 3.1 mph is average walking speed.average jogging speed is 5 to 6 mph and the average running speed for a human is 15 mph. and tour de france average winning speed is 55.43 km/h so it moves as fast as a brisk jogger.

Just 14.5 kg? I have a 29er and it's way lighter than that... I'm not amused by the amount of laziness this bike will provide.

Looks a bit rubbish design wise. Like someone stuck a huge steel beam into BMX bike...
These things are cool though, have been driving with a bit more powerful version from some other maker that accelerates to 25km/h assisted with its rear wheel drive on larger wheels with solid alloy rims. These things go like a rocket, especially when climbing hills where you'd be struggling even with lowest gear. My version also had shock absorbers on front wheel, disc brakes and 7 speed gearbox with 5 level electric assistance. Range of around 40km with max electric motor assistance. With lower assist levels, you can get a lot more assisted range. I wonder how this front wheel drive works...

AnonD-456459, 23 Jun 2016It's 58,000mah battery not 5,800mahErhm NO...
As the motor is allegedly 36V, expect the 20 cells to be wired as two 'strings' of ten cells each, ending as a 36V, 5.8Ah battery

They should copy Dahoon or Polygon in term of design.

I might jump on this (or something like it), I'm 5mi from my office with sidewalk in between, but I can't dress appropriately and ride a bike without sweating. This might work well in the cooler months.
