To all the people out there OFFICIAL FROYO release not yet made........If U tweak/change settings it might not be good for u..........we dont kno for sure whether its beta or alpha version of froyo that is available............its ur wish..........i am nt goin 2 risk my 28k.....will wait till the right update news comes up

I'm someone who goes swaps phones more than I swap my underpants hahahaha. The galaxy is awesome, and Samsung have done an amazing job. So far the galaxy is the only phone that has kept me interested for more tnan a month and even more impressive, its the only phone that has me not touching my laptop for a whole day or even too, which is rare. Web browser and interface is just amazing. Cantwait for the real froyo, this one just announced seems too tricky atm, i dont want to do anything that would brick my phone.
I think i can definitely say I will stick to my 24month contract with this phone unless the galaxy s2 comes out before then lol :)

You misinform your readers. The Froyo is not OFFICIALLY released, is just a intermediate (unfinished) version released for knowledgeable people, not the normal user.

i love samsung since i got my spica and going to get the galaxy S once it gets a lil price drop...good that samsung are pushing the updates of froyo b4 anyonce else BUT sadly by Kies...this software is horrible and unrealiable!!! You have to tweak stuff to install Froyo. I don't think this is the official realse.

Guys, it's only another beta firmware according to the comments
on XDA Forums. Kies has to be set in Test Mode via registry to
be able to see and download the upgrade.
So if you can still wait, be patient, nothing to worry about.

the secret to samsung sucess
1 they make their own cpu and platform the hummingbird cpu has no match in the market right now
2 they make their own display aka super amoled
3 samsung phones have good multimedia support unlike other phones like htc crapp*y video recording no divix support
4 the most important pt they choose android....
Now all they need do is bring official support of froyo on their galaxy s.

Was so close to getting the xperia x10. Soooo glad it was out of stock at the time. My last 3 phones have been SE and am very suprised that they are not supporting their androids as well as samsung is.

Again and again....iphone vs whatever.Who sold more...blablabla.Samsung is 2nd in selling mobile phones on planet.Apple have 1phone,buy if you can,Samsung in one year sell about 100+/- different types of phones for different social groups....Buy what you like,what you need.Stop talk like child.If you have some good advice/critic/experience...tell us.Who have larger profit,who cares,they all have :P
