But wouldn't you agree, it would be equally annoying if an Apple fanboy suddenly heard good news for Apple and immediately went "OMG 3 million sales! Samsung can suck it! Apple kicks Samsung's butt anyday!" I call that provocation.
My point isnt who is better, my point is, do people really have to rub it in each other's faces?

Anonymous, 30 Aug 2010Lol you do realize Apple sold 1.7 million on it's opening w... moreIIRC Iphone 4 reached 1.7Mil in first week and then 3 Million by the end of 3rd week, but yet to reach 4 million after more than 1 and half months. We all know that most of those iPhones were bought by previous iPhone owners, once the initial rush is over Apple will have a very growth rate. But it is completely different for Samsung. Galaxy S was a new product for them, and I believe their sales are only going to increase in the future with Verizon's Fascinate and Sprint's Epic 4G. Besides, they managed to sell almost 1/3rd of iPhones in just a month. IMO, this is a huge success for a company with a relatively low profile in smartphone industry.
