Google could be redesigning the navigation buttons for Android N

I actually like the idea of this, even the design that's shown in the article.
What would be even better is, if Google would give us, users to achieve full customisation without the need of root. (Sure we can do that on certain levels and with different ROMs, Frameworks etc.) but what if everything would be given for the user, and the user would only have to turn the switcher on in order to make changes?
Note: I'm talking about customisation (design/looks) and not overwriting the system (that's root).

Yes google should stop changing and designing and all we get is the same looks every update

As long as they can be customized. And Google not everybody wants Google now on tap. Think about that. Some of us have long press designated for something else more useful.

One thing Google need to do is enable a swipe to hide navigation bar gesture throughout the whole interface similar to what Windows Phone offers.

In the end OEMs are gonna decide wether to implement this design on their phones or not. Gotta be different with their own UI.
