I mean seriously? then why the hell you first opt for this beautiful looking device when you are not even allowing anyone to see its beauty.

People who can say glass is premium material to use on a mobile won't understand why its not a practical choice, or far from being a "premium" material to use a mobile phone. I myself have wasted plenty times responding to them, but indeed ignorance is a bliss.

I will reply.
Please just read your words and listen to yourself..Glass and premium, hum mm!!! Would you mind me asking, what is so premium about glass other than your fingerprints?
After ignoring your money remark, I would like to ask, what good is a beautiful design if no one (not even myself) will enjoy feeling it or even looking at it? And just for the heck of it do you know any one who (or his kids) did not drop his phone before ever?
A thought to ponder on. Where do you think the big profits come from? the original piece or its parts???

Haha... Samsung still uses glass material on their phones and continue to place it's back button on the right without following Google to place it on the left.
Hope this company very lost soon.
Learn from HTC to incorporate metal. Dumbass.

Seriously if I'm paying top dollar for a Note I'd demand proper balance for the UI + base updates, not stressing out about whether my $800 phone can ever catch up to AOSP in the next 2 - 3 years.

Indeed I don't know what Samsung is smoking putting up with a glass and fragile phone! Polycarbonate is a MUCH MORE practical choice for a MOBILE PHONE. This is not women's jewellery! Or yes, Aluminium, if for some reason plastic isn't cutting it for them! Ridiculous! I for one won't even look the phone if its made of glass, let alone buying it!
The Note 4 is the last solidly built device Samsung made, and Samsung is now forgetting what actually made them "Samsung", now they are keen on copying other so called filthy cheap companies, and let's see how long that trend continues.
People are just so stupid, them who purchase glass phones.

I have been with the Note since year 2 but I stopped now and and I am still holding to my Note 4. I simply refused to upgrade this time to the Note five. Why the roller coaster Samsung? The Note supposed to be your Flag of the phaplets yet you guys who call your selves designers are still dancing around mediocrity.
1- I don't want to pay 800 $ for a fragile mobile that can break (from both sides back and front) if it drops from the waist high. why not use aluminum?
2- Finally you partially addressed the UI issues (in S7) but still lack a Dolby stereo sound system or just a simple front facing stereo.
3- Stop stuffing the phone with so many useless features, where is the radio and the big battery? You certainly don't lack the space.
You lost my loyalty Samsung. Now I am waiting for the right phablet (5.5" 0r 5.8") no mater who designs it.

2. No, having the fingerprint scanner on the side like the Z5 is actually a lot better. Using the home button on the note as a fingerprint scanner means you have to juggle the phone in your hand.
3. It doesn't, if you have a flagship. Then again, Touchwiz could use a hell of a lot more useful features instead of those edge app gimmicks. For that price I'd want Nova launcher like features...and then some. Also, more than 2 year lifespan for updates and updates actually updating Touchwiz as well and not only the Android version.

Anonymous, 26 Jun 2016wow blue like upcoming iphone 7! Originality - 0Lol. iPhones don't have any selling points or any innovation, that's why iPhone fans always try to 'patent' things like colour.
Unfortunately, they're still wrong because blue has always been used.

Samsung needs to give it over 4,000mAh battery to get over two days of usage with heavy use, like the Huawei Mate 8 ;)
If not, they suck...

- 128/256 GB internal storage

- I don't care about the S pen
- I don't care about display curves and device colour

- super speakers
Add to that:
- Dual SIM (both 4G/LTE)
- OLED display
- Two card slots (yes 2) microSD up to 256 GB EACH."
Okay. what would you do with 768 GB of storage?!

I don't know why but I sort of lost interest in upgrading my phones (note 3 and iPhone 5s) .. Strange kind of rat race is created by these companies forcing us to buy new phones though my both phones r serving me well.. They talk abt more ram and megapixels and samoleds soc etc etc.. Though for an average user these things hardly matters .. Including me.. Earlier Nokia days were better now it feels u have to buy the latest one because this because that ..
