They throw around words like "security" all the time while a lot of people who actually might "need" security use iOS which is at the top of most vulnerable OS list.

Sounds like sailfish is growing. Well let's hope they do and more quickly than they have with part of the old Nokia team.

In my opinion, I guess the CEO is committed to an acquisition deal where he has to deliver and there is no other consideration at this point in time but for an official launch. Ditching Android OS tells you quite a fair bit...

let say one day, all smart gadgets have a fight a cold war may be, may be for a very smaller reason like getting reception&bandwidth for sending an email about a class 5 cyclone to reserved authorities.....who ll win? this ip68 phone with Qualcomm 's most sold processor? iPhone? your latest plastic android smartphone or something else

"The device even goes so far as to remove things like the USB port, 3.5mm jack and home button, as potential weak links in the build".

So, keep removing stuff for security purposes?

Good to see something else on the market but this OS looks light but dismal.

Can see people closing games and apps by accident.
