It's funny how the Neon gets a 5.2 inch screen screen and a 2610mah battery where as the mercury gets a 4.5 inch screen and a 3400mah battery.
I don't understand Blackberry's strategy at all.

at least blackberry admitting that their os is outdated and take years to meet todays level of os and app store. windows 10 for mobile is the third in volume of app available but still struggling. plus, many of the apps is not fully monitorize or updated.

These do not go to market quick enough to support the dropped support for Whatsapp and FB. The PRIV did not do well. I've used them since the 850/5810 as being from Toronto we had them earlier. My Classic's time is up Dec 2016 so BB better have an option for me!

I would expect BB with physical keyboard have best SOC and run BBOS.that would make it for full 3 to 4 years of good use.
I own Q5 and curve 9220. Both are running smooth even today. I don't play games or watch movies on them.( I use tablet for that or my Moto G turbo). With new BB device with physical keyboard, I would refresh be able to continue my secured communications.

AnonD-119121, 01 Jul 2016If these devices specs are anything less than Galaxy S7 and... morethere are still people that will choose BlackBerry over Samsung or Samsung over BlackBerry, BlackBerry over Apple or Apple over BlackBerry, BlackBerry over Sony or Sony over BlackBerry, BlacBerry over a certain brand or a certain brand over BlackBerry, price and specs matters to techy people but it won't matter to people who only buys gadgets according to what is trending, lastly there are people that will prefer a brand that they love even tho the price and the specs sucks or maybe not :3

I don't get this....!!!!! Why is it so important to be the highest specs than quality... What is wrong with you guys...? I thought people want the blackberry software in a descent hardware with a really blackberry quality phone.... An SD410 with 2 gb ram can handle stock Android very well. Don't you think blackberry will consider a well performing chipset for their midrange offering? SD 617 is running well in HTC a9...... Let's hope it will priced accordingly with better battery than mammoth spec to run a near stock Android. It's just stupid.... Blackberry need more customers than crazy people.... They can always make their own unique high end hardware and software anytime in the future....

for these to work i think a complete change of pespective must be applied here... like dis take the internals of the argon and pack them in the Mercury's chasis and shell ( i like the keyboard layout it to die for) and dont wait for no January-march 2017 launch it asap to put a spin on this years last quaters sales coz with the looks the mecurry packs its bound to charm the loyal fans and pull in new crowds ill ditch sammy in a heart beat if it was sold dis year in the above specified config. follow up with the two midrange pair in the following year. and i tuink they also need to be more adventurous and add extra novelties like dust and water resistance dis time around, like broaden the potential customer pool and not keep them self on the outskirts of the market for a change. take a new stand that boldly say we wont yeild and wont settle for less than best in the smartphone arena.
