Spotify calls Apple “anticompetitive” upon denial of Spotify’s new iOS update

30 June, 2016
Spotify is enraged at the way that that Apple’s App Store approval process is being exploited to put down other competitors that are directly a threat to Apple’s own music streaming service: Apple Music. Apple recently denied a request from Spotify to update its iOS app, which is what’s currently causing conflict.

Greedy SOBs. How much more money they need to suck from us?!!! They are already making money by selling overpriced iSh**ts.

Thanks to Spotify for exposing the truth.

For example I subscribed on my Windows Phone, and I use Spotify Premium on my PC and iPad too.
But now my subscription is directly from Spotify website.

Well, Apple has the right to set all the rules.Too bad, Spotify simply must follow Apple's rule. Whatever terms they use to call Apple, Apple is the one in control of its own Apps store, not Spotify. Is that wrong? nope, its not anticompetitive. Apple simply has the right to do so.

Can someone explain this, if i have an android and ios devices with Spotify on it, if I subscribe in android, will I be able to use in iOS?

                    Spotify is not available here.

Although I love Apple Music on my iPhone (no Spotify in my country), this news shows the real face of Apple. They are greedy as hell and do not ever hestitate to go unfair to either their customers or partners. Not to mention the developers as well. Dictators!!
