Not!; "That's why the Active has a multifunctional button and switches the capacitive keys on the front with hardware buttons - they actually do work when wet." - If Sony was able to make the SONY XPERIA Z3+'s screen functional even if it's wet, why is it that Samsung can't.

Hot, I wish it has shatterproof shield like motos.

As one user has commented, it's crap, because of carrier lock and availability. I'd buy it if it's available in my country.

It's pointless. Available on one network in one country in the entire world.

... and then it's the unlockable / unrootable Snapdragon version, that also happens to be completely crippled with AT&T bloat.

If it was available worldwide, without the bloat, and with the ability to unlock bootloader and root, it'd be awesome ... but it's a complete piece of crap, as is.

viveksubhash, 03 Jul 2016in the battle of scratch resistance vs shatter resistance p... moreIndeed, and if you check the reason, it's the dreaded thickness trend. Check the N8's screen cover's thickness. It's probably on the 2mm class, nowadays these things are at most 1mm if you're lucky, and the reason for tougher materials isn't much more than keeping the same strength for a way thinner cover. I bet this version of the S7 here has a way thicker screen cover.
Also materials were different. Old days you would have a scratch resistant layer applied to some polymer cover. It could bend and in extreme cases crack, but never shatter like a spider web. Granted, it scratched easily despite the added layer but it would simply not shatter.

                                    Wet,i'll say

in the battle of scratch resistance vs shatter resistance phone makers tend to go for the former..true it makes for a more beautiful screen and back of the s7 but frankly we're gonna skin or film it over anyway...so whynot go for a scratch prone unbreakable phone..its not impossible..i have slammed half my weight on an n8 screen while vaulting out of a stuck elevator and the thing got a teeny tiny scratch that apparently runs the entire thickness of the screen but its still intact and working...god i miss nokia..i'm basically carrying my s7 edge like a baby now
