Nougat is officially Android 7.0

Yesterday Google finally unveiled the dessert name for the next iteration of its mobile operating system: Nougat. So what we've so far known only as "Android N" will be called Android Nougat when it launches later this summer.

I was one of those who participated in the naming of the new Android OS, I really chose Nougat although there wasn't a way to recognize that I send it, but anyway am so glad that it was chosen.

              They can't use Nutella because it's just something that you spread on your bread, not a sweet treat by itself (like Cupcake, Eclair, Jelly Bean, Kit Kat etc).

                I think it will be Android Nougat 7.0 because 6.1 should be an update for the Marshallow 6.0.

                  Nougat is coming from many regions; But rooted from a city of current "Iran" named "Tabriz".
                  It [Nougat} is also called "Gaz" in Persian.

Yes android is very heavy, and even pc with hese specs will have more features and work better. Sure you can open latest apps on old devices BUT do they really work the same? how about games? yes they will really lag. Obviously old device still works good. And the thing is that smartphone is not 'that much' evolving is because all companies wants their profit. Obviously they have a lot of plans later years. But why releaase everything in 1 year? when you can release like few things every year? thats buisness, look how samsung changes devices, in S5 they keeps removable back, waterproof, sd card slot, and galaxy s6 doesnt have these features, then in s7 they bring all this back except removable back. Thats because people would buy device. So I would say just wait.

                          I'm just gonna call it Android N!

                              I hope it's going to be Nutella. It's simple and mainstream.

                              but, Nougat is also fine rather than New York Cheesecake. It's too long, and not everyone in this world knows that.
